 Collins and her fiancé visited the Santa Claus House in North Pole, Alaska where they saw reindeer. They also visited the world's most northern Denny's restaurant.

"It was absolutely beautiful and we had a wonderful time," Mevissen said.

After The Johnsonian requested spring break pictures on the all-student listserv, these are the pictures and stories Winthrop students sent about their spring breaks.
Students traveled with many different purposes, including service projects and visiting friends. Whether in Alaska or in Columbia, these students seem to have had eventful, yet relaxing spring breaks.
