Fine arts professor Marge Moody has returned from sabbatical with a new body of work on view in the Elizabeth Dunlap Patrick Gallery, Rutledge second floor, until Jan. 22.

Senior painting and sculpture majors will show work in the Edmund D. Lewandowski Student Gallery, McLaurin, through Jan. 22.
Paper: Recent Works of Mike Gentry
Recent alum Mike Gentry's ('08) first solo gallery is on view at Gallery Up through Jan. 30.
The opening reception will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Jan. 22. This event is free and open to the public.

Fine arts professor Paul Martyka will show his recent collages at the York County Center for the Arts in the Dalton Gallery, 121 E. Main St., downtown Rock Hill, through Feb. 20. The reception will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 22. This event is free and open to the public.

11th South Carolina Collegiate Honors Band
The 11th Annual South Carolina Collegiate Honors Band will perform at 2 p.m. Jan. 24 in Byrnes Auditorium. The S.C. Collegiate Honors Band is composed of music students from 19 S.C. colleges and universities, including 10 Winthrop students. The show is presented by the S.C. Chapter of the College Band Directors National Association and is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Lorrie Crochet, assistant professor of music, at 323-4610.

Alumna Ruby Morgan serves as professor of piano at Furman University. Morgan, who has been described as "one of the outstanding pianists of the South," will perform at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 25 in Barnes Recital Hall.
Friends of the Conservatory Series
The department of music and the Friends of the Conservatory present the violin and piano duo Tellef and Aslak Juva. The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 29 in Barnes Recital Hall. $5 with Winthrop student ID, $15 without.

Nathan Angelo and Vic Henley
Atlanta-based singer/songwriter Nathan Angelo pays homage to Motown influences, while special guest comedian Vic Henley has appeared on "Leno," "Letterman" and Comedy Central. The show starts at 8 p.m. Jan 24 in Dinkins Underground. $5 with Winthrop student ID, $7 without.
