The Recreational Services staff would like everyone to complete a survey about their experiences in the West Center and the programs offered in order to improve them. The survey should take 10 to 12 minutes to complete and can be found at studentvoice.com/p/?uuid=7142674770d0486ebe68be59a79583cf. All answers are confidential, and those who complete it will be entered in the running for a Best Buy gift certificate, Bookworm gift certificate, water bottles, shorts, bags and T-shirts. Library helps artists
The Dacus Library Development Committee has created the first annual Art 4 Books Festival to go along with the Come See Me Festival. Everyone is invited to display and sell their original artwork. The price to rent a table is $10, with that money going to Dacus. All money from art sales will go straight to the artist. The event will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 22 in McBryde. Applications for tables can be found at www2.winthrop.edu/dacus/development. For more information, e-mail Brittany Slagle at tantb@winthrop.edu. Applications are due April 13.
Award recognizes advisors
Students can recognize their advisor for encouragement, guidance and support by nominating them for the Outstanding Advisor Award. Nomination forms are available in Kinard 106, department offices in the College of Arts and Sciences and outside Records and Registration at Tillman 126. Nominations are due by April 10.
Positions open in organization
All officer positions are open in Habitat for Humanity. Positions include president, vice president and treasurer. Applications can be found at www.birdnest.org/habitat. For questions, e-mail habitat@winthrop.edu.
Student government needs involvement
Students interested in being a part of Council of Student Leaders (CSL) can fill out applications, found online and in Dinkins 218. Applications are due by 5 p.m. April 15.
